Livermore is one of the windiest spots in the US. As a result we are next to several thousand windmills. These windmills are viewed as: really cool, a clean, renewable source of energy, a tax boondoggle, a threat to hawks and eagles, entertainment for cows, a source of noise, an eye sore, and as a path to energy independence.
